Ethan Hargreaves

THE PROTECTOR

A former SAS soldier who knows that powerful discoveries attract dangerous attention.

A life shaped by experience

Thirty-six-year-old Ethan Hargreaves is a former SAS soldier and Afghanistan veteran. Trained in threat assessment, protective operations and planning for the unexpected, he approaches even familiar surroundings with an instinctive awareness of danger.

A different view of PRISM

Where his father sees a breakthrough that could transform humanity's relationship with truth, Ethan sees the forces that might want to control it. He understands how quickly powerful technology can become a strategic asset.

Loyalty and restraint

Quiet, disciplined and emotionally guarded, Ethan is most comfortable acting rather than explaining himself. His deepest commitment is to his father, even when protecting him means challenging the choices Peter makes.
